The holiday season comes alive at Kent Narrows when the Queen Anne's County Watermen's Association builds and lights the basket trees. This year there are three trees made out of 291 painted crab baskets. Members of the community purchase the baskets and then use their creative talents to paint them with a holiday or nautical theme. Each basket has it's own story behind it. The trees will be up until mid-January. The display is located next to the Watermen's Monument in front of Fishermen's Crab Deck .
